Effective October 6, 2026
The short version
- XXPuro Browser is a web browser. There are no accounts and we never ask for your name, email, phone number or location.
- Your browsing history, open tabs, shortcuts, passcode and downloaded files stay on your device. We do not receive them.
- The app shows ads. Our advertising and analytics partners (Google, Meta and ad networks mediated through Google AdMob) may collect your advertising ID, IP address and device information to serve and measure ads.
- We read the Google Play install referrer once to learn how you found the app.
- Questions or requests: bhayanisarika0078@gmail.com.

1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how the XXPuro Browser Android app ("XXPuro Browser", "we", "us") handles information. It applies to the app only, not to the websites you open with it. Effective date: October 6, 2026.
You can reach us at bhayanisarika0078@gmail.com.
2. Information we process
2.1 Stays on your device (we do not receive it)
- Browsing data: open tabs, and the addresses of pages you visited in normal (non-incognito) tabs. The app keeps up to the last 200 addresses to suggest them in the address bar. You can clear this in Settings → Clear browsing history.
- Shortcuts and settings: sites you add to Home, your preferences (ad blocking, user-agent, image blocking and so on), and your chosen proxy.
- Passcode: if you set an app lock, only a salted one-way hash of the 4-digit code is stored. Fingerprint or face unlock is handled by Android; the app never receives your biometric data.
- Downloads: files you download are saved in the app's own storage on your device.
- Cookies and site data set by the websites you visit, held by Android's WebView on your device.
2.2 Collected automatically by the app's SDKs
To run, improve and fund the app, third-party software libraries inside it may collect:
| Information | Why | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID, IP address (and the approximate location it implies), device model, OS version, language, app version, ad interactions | Serve, limit and measure ads; prevent fraud | Google AdMob and the ad networks it mediates (see section 4) |
| App events (such as ad impressions, ad revenue and screens viewed), a Firebase installation ID | Analytics and app performance | Google Firebase (Analytics, Remote Config) |
| App events and device identifiers (including advertising ID) | Measure installs and ad campaigns | Meta Platforms (Meta SDK), when enabled |
| Install referrer: a short string describing the campaign or store page that led to your install, and timestamps | Tell paid-ad installs from organic ones, and tune ads accordingly | Google Play (Install Referrer API), read on the device |
We also fetch remote settings (for example ad rules, the list of shortcuts on Home, and links) from Firebase Remote Config. This request reveals your IP address and installation ID to Google like any internet request.
2.3 Network requests the app makes
- Shortcut icons on Home are loaded from public image hosts such as Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia and Google's favicon service. Those hosts see your IP address and the request; for the favicon fallback, Google also sees the domain of the shortcut.
- Searches typed in the address bar go to Google Search.
- Pages and files you open or download are fetched directly from the site you chose, or through your proxy if you turn one on.
2.4 What we do not collect
The app has no sign-in. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location or SMS. It denies websites' requests for camera and microphone access.
3. How we use information
- To provide and operate the browser and its features.
- To show ads that fund the app, and to measure and improve how ads perform.
- To understand how the app is used and fix problems (analytics).
- To tell how an install reached us and to configure the app accordingly.
- To protect the app and its users against fraud, abuse and security issues, and to meet legal obligations.
Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the EEA and UK), we rely on our legitimate interests in running and funding the app, and on your consent where consent is required, such as for personalised advertising.
4. Advertising
XXPuro Browser is supported by ads. Ads are provided through Google AdMob, which can also request ads from other networks through mediation. The app currently includes adapters for Unity Ads, AppLovin and Meta Audience Network, and may include others. These companies may use your advertising ID, IP address and device information to choose and measure ads, and may personalise them based on your activity across apps.
Their policies:
- Google: policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services
- Meta: facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Unity: unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
- AppLovin: applovin.com/privacy
Your ad choices. On Android you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in Settings → Privacy → Ads (the path varies by device). Opting out does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant. The app's Block advertising servers setting blocks known ad servers on the web pages you visit; it does not affect the ads the app itself shows.
5. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers and partners that operate the SDKs described above (Google/Firebase, Meta, and ad networks), under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, or to protect rights, safety and security.
- A successor if the app is transferred as part of a merger, sale or similar event.
We do not sell the information we hold for money. Note that advertising partners may use advertising data in ways that some laws describe as "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context advertising; see your choices in section 9.
6. Proxy and incognito
Proxy. The app lets you route in-app browsing through a proxy server, one you enter yourself or one listed in the app. When a proxy is on, the operator of that proxy can see which sites you connect to and, for unencrypted (http) pages, the content. We do not run a logging service for proxies. Only use proxies you trust. A proxy affects browsing inside the app, not the app's own ad and analytics traffic.
Incognito. Incognito tabs do not save pages to the app's history. They do not hide your activity from the websites you visit, your network provider, your proxy operator or your employer or school.
7. Security and app lock
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) where available and storing the passcode only as a salted hash. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. The passcode protects access to the app on your device; if you forget it, the only way back in is to clear the app's data, which removes your tabs and settings.
8. Retention and deletion
- On your device: data stays until you delete it (Settings → Clear browsing history, Menu → Clear page data, delete downloads in Files) or uninstall the app. Android's App info → Storage → Clear data removes everything the app stored.
- With our providers: analytics and advertising data held by Google, Meta and ad networks is kept according to their own retention rules. To ask us to help with a deletion request, email bhayanisarika0078@gmail.com.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, California and other US states, Brazil, India), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, to data portability, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to complain to your data-protection authority.
Because the app has no accounts and we do not hold your browsing data, much of it is under your direct control on the device. To exercise a right, or ask what we hold about you, email bhayanisarika0078@gmail.com from the address you want us to use and tell us what you need. We may need to verify your request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Control ads with your device's advertising settings (section 4). We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because the app has no cross-site tracking of its own.
10. International transfers
Our providers operate globally, so information may be processed in countries other than yours, including countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, providers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Children
XXPuro Browser is a general-purpose browser and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect information from children. The web can contain content that is unsuitable for minors; parents should supervise use. If you believe a child has given us information, email bhayanisarika0078@gmail.com and we will help remove it.
12. Websites you visit
Websites, ads and downloads you open in the browser are run by others, who have their own privacy practices. They may set cookies and collect information about you. We are not responsible for them. Read their policies before you share information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add features or change SDKs. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as an in-app notice or an update to the store listing.
